Welcome, to the music page!

A doodle-like bugle I made in MSpaint

I whipped this up on MSpaint. Took me like 30 minutes to do, and I re-edited it because why not?.

This page is dedicated to my music interests as a whole. Everything that I listen to and I love! You know, music for me is like a gateway to another dimension. Like, it transports your soul to different places, making you feel different emotions. On one hand, you are jamming to some music here, then on the next, you are crying your eyes out! On god, I think music could be used for therapy or something, its just SO impactful to the mind and soul...

God I love music so much! It was with me for so long, from child me listening to songs on the radio and singing oldie songs with my mom, and now, I'm now listening to songs digitally for roughly 2 hours everyday, give or take. I'm like obsessed with listening to music.

I made this page in order so show my love for music and showcase what I'm listening to! There's going to be so many things to cover here!

Feel free to send music recommendations thru clooore@gmail.com I like new music!

(Note, I might not reply always but I will make it a habit to check my e-mail every single day.)

A monotone image of Sabaton's band members.

Sabaton

This band is literally the reason I like heavy metal in general!

Short Description: Sabaton is a 5-person Swedish power metal band. All of their albums (exept Metallizer, their first studio album) was written with a particular historic event, usually wars and significant battles.

The band is comprised of:

  • Joakim Brodén - Lead vocalist, Keyboardist
  • Pär Sundström - Bass Guitarist, Manager, Lyricist
  • Chris Rörland - Lead Guitarist
  • Hannes Van Dahl - Drummer
  • Thobbe Englund - Lead Guitarist

Songs and Albums I like from Sabaton:

  • An image of Sabaton's album, The Great War
    The Great War (album, 2019)

Oh my god, where do I start with The Great War? Honestly, one of the greatest albums ever made my Sabaton. I really enjoyed all of the songs in this album, especially Fields of Verdun, The Red Baron, Devil Dogs and The Attack of the Dead Men! with its WW1 theme and the powerful guitars.

It's your usual Sabaton album, but it still hits so hard! Honestly killed it with this album tbh!

    Rating: 8.9/10

  • An image of Sabaton's album, The War To End All Wars
The War To End All Wars (album, 2020)

This is their newest release, (As of 31/10/24). A continuation of The Great War album with the same WW1 theme, and a god damn BANGER at that! This also has a cozy place in my heart with songs such as Christmas Truce, Stormtroopers, Hellfighters, The Unkillable Soldier and Soldier of Heaven.

I can say that I like this new album, as I've listened to all of the songs (exept Sarajevo, as that is exclusively on the physical vinyl, CD and the "History Edition" of the album.)

    Rating: 8.7/10

  • An image of Sabaton's album, The Last Stand
    The Last Stand (album, 2016)

This album single-handedly introduced me to Sabaton as a whole, with "The Last Stand". Holy crap did they did good with this one! Even though I listened to The Last Stand well after my inital discovery of Sabaton, It still hits as hard as the other albums. I loved Winged Hussars, Rorke's Drift, Shiroyama and obviously The Last Stand. And I like how they incorporated the sounds in The Lost Battalion.

Overall, if you want to listen to Sabaton, probably go with this album first!

    Rating: 8.8/10

  • An image of Sabaton's album, Heroes
    Heroes (album, 2014)

Honestly, Heroes could use a little touches, but it's still as good as the other albums for me. Ok, nevermind, this album is so fire. 3 tracks in and Smoking Snakes hits so hard. This was literally the second album that I had listened to. With Night Witches, Resist and Bite, To Hell and Back (especially this song. I love it SO much.)

Plus No Bullets Fly is real underrated for me (what do you mean, it literally has more views than Night Witches (26M compared to Night Witches' 14M.)), Plus a cover of For Whom the Bell Tolls by Metallica? No. Freaking. Way!

    Rating: 9/10

  • An image of Sabaton's album, Carolus Rex (English)
    Carolus Rex (English) (album, 2012)

This album, about the rise and fall of the Swedish empire, is so damn underrated for me. No wonder it's Certified Platinum in Sweden. I loved The Lion from the North, Gott mit uns, Carolus Rex and Long Live the King.

This whole album made me appreciate Sweden and it's history. God damn, Sabaton really has the power to make me patriotic to a different country.

    Rating: 8.8/10

  • An image of Sabaton's single, Defence Of Moscow
    Defence Of Moscow (single, 2020)

Honestly the best single that Sabaton's ever dropped (biased). This is a english cover of a Russian song by Radio Tapok, honestly they did well with this one! The beat is so good, the guitars, his voice, everything!!! And it even has a letmotif of the Soviet Russian Anthem in the solo. So good!

    Rating: 9/10

  • An image of Sabaton's single, Bismarck
    Bismarck (single, 2019)

Pride of a nation, a beast made of steel! This ship is so cool, they made it a male to show it's power! There's so much power, so much metal in this song that it could probably rebuild Bismarck. I also liked how they filmed the music video of this in the middle of the ocean, and its overall vibes make me hype for a ship in the bottom of the ocean. And I also discovered that this song is a collab with World Of Warships.

Holy crap. Thank you World Of Warships. Without you, This song would never exist!

    Rating: 8.8/10

I'll probably listen to their earlier albums such as Metallizer, Primo Victoria, Attero Dominatus, The Art of War, and Coat of Arms, and I'll add them to the list if I've finished listening to most or all of the albums. In summary, I love power metal, and now I am interested in History, Sabaton has got to be the best power metal bands I've stumbled upon!

Image of YonKaGor

YonKaGor

Guys, I'm not a furry I swear. Neither am I clinically depressed. I'm simply just gravitated to good music.

Unironically really good ngl. I dont really care if they're a furry or not. If they pump out bangers I'll listen to them. But I may say I might be interested in their culture or whatever.

Short Description: YonKaGor is a Chinese-Indonesian fish-loving freelance musician. They mostly create Electronic Music. Their songs usually have a dark, underlying lyrics compared to the beats.

It's kinda like this image:

Some examples of similar artists are:

  • The Living Tombstone
  • Ivycomb
  • OR3O

Songs and Albums that I like from them:

  • Paper Alibis (EP, 2019)

The only album Yon has pumped out. Honestly for their first (and only) EP, its really good ngl. Especially Paper Alibis, You Made Me Fall in Love, Bitter and Blunt, and Another Mistake. Pretty underrated in most of the fans' eyes. Glad I tried and listened to the whole EP, and I was enjoying every song.

  • Waterland (single, 2024)

God, this song... Waterland is so relaxing to listen to (don't mind the lyrics tho that's a different story). The instruments and the lyrics really capture the feelings of longingness. I can't believe this is their newest single. I cannot believe that this is real. But still,

I wish i could love you, Waterland.

    Rating: 8.9/10

  • Memory Merge (single, 2024)

(Me merging all of my memories to a blend of anomalies.)

Memory Merge, is really something. On god, when I listened to this song when I first discovered YonKaGor, my mind was blown, and I felt that I had struck gold. Eveything about the song is just *chef's kiss* SO GOD DAMN GOOD! Like, not to be the #1 glazer here, from the mixing to the solo to the everything! Just give it a listen to see what I mean! (or not idc)

    Rating: 9.2/10

  • Silly Plans ~ Revisit (single, 2023)

Shout out to Original Silly Plans. Still really good.

This song, albeit short, is kinda really sweet not gonna lie. No dark underlining lyrics this time. I really think that this song is a gift for someone Yon really loves. It's just too perfect to not be one. Ok, I wont beat around the bush, I'm keeping it short and sweet, It's good, ok?

    Rating: 8.8/10

  • Trash Talkin' (single, 2023)

Best. Collab. Ever. Honestly! Kennyoung really killed it with the guitars tbh. I did not even know who Kennyoung was before listening to this song. Listened to them and I really enjoyed them! Ok, back to song rating, This song has great mixing, bla bla bla! It's really good. They definitely cooked with this one!

    Rating: 8.7/10

  • Fallacy (single, 2022)

One of the more rock-sounding singles Yon has produced, Fallacy really carries that "negativity" vibe. Like you take most of your hatred from a person that broke your trust into a song and make it sound good too, it would probably sound mostly like this.

    Rating: 8.7/10

  • Top 10 Things To Do Before You Die (single, 2022)

I would not recommend this to depressed people.

But for real though, this song clearly states the behavior of suicidal people, like giving all of their earthly posessions, because the world is ending soon for them. Honestly, this would be in the "Top 5 Most Depressing Songs of All Time" if it ever existed. But after all this,

Song still slaps tho. Give that list a few more tries, will you?

    Rating: 8.9/10

  • You're Just Like Pop Music (single, 2022)

    Pulling a 180 this time? I see.

You're Just Like Pop Music is so DAMN good. Just gonna say it right off the bat. I'm so glad that this was my second song that I have listened since Memory Merge. It just has that positive vibe but at the same time it makes you feel like you miss someone you love because they're so damn far from you. Going for that Vaporwave and 90's aesthetic really also sold it for me.

My god. We'll be dancing thru it all after all.

    Rating: 9.3/10

  • Mr. Sunfish (single, 2021)

Oh Mister Sunfish, oh Mister Ocean Fish,

"How I wished to be like him, but he was already like me." would be the best way to describe this song. Song's pretty calm, cant say so much about the lyrics. I really liked the acoustic guitars that they've done for the song. It's alright. I like the quaint feeling that it carries.

    Rating: 8.6/10

  • You'll Be Gone (single, 2021)

You'll Be Gone is one of the biggest bops ever.

Simply don't mind the fact that they're obsessed for someone with someone with another partner. Honestly, I could listen to this all day tbh (of course with other songs inbetween it). I gotta give it to Yon with this one tbh. It's gotta be one of their best works.

This ones in the top 5 for me.

    Rating: 9.2/10

  • It's Normal (single, 2020)

Just like Mr. Sunfish, this song really oozes out this kind of depressing and calming vibes at the same time. Still, would come back to this song, but not as much as the other ones. Maybe when I'm in the mood to do so.

It's Normal is a hidden gem for me, maybe not for everyone it seems.

    Rating: 8.7/10

  • Circus Hop (single, 2020)

The cackling carousel that spins and never stops.

For their earlier songs, this still honestly holds up. Still would give it the Top Ten Things To Do Before You Die treatment and would not recommend for depressed people.

Honestly, Circus Hop has of great things going on in it. I really like it!

    Rating: 9/10

God, this is the most varied discography of all time. You can go from feeling nostalgia, to feeling depressed to feeling contempt. Dawg needs more listens tbh they're real underrated.

One final time guys, I'm NOT a furry.

Final Rating: 9/10

Camellia

I had to find the perfect time to use this image ok? He's nice to listen to, but when you play their songs on any rhythm game, you might break a finger or two.

The Music Slog

I have literally so many artists that I listen to, but I only enjoyed like 1-2 songs from them.

THE MUSIC SLOG is where they belong.

It's kinda like those discount bins in a GameStop or something idk.
